How to auto-tap a button the moment it appears on Android

Updated

Some buttons only matter for a second: a new job request, a seat opening up, a first-come coupon. By the time you notice and reach for the phone, it's gone.

A regular auto clicker doesn't help much here. It taps the same spot over and over, whether the button is there or not. What you want is a phone that waits for the button to appear, then taps it right away.

Why "tap a spot" auto clickers fall short

Classic auto clickers repeat taps at fixed coordinates. That breaks in common situations:

How "tap when it appears" works

On Android, apps can read what's on the screen through the Accessibility Service, the same system screen readers use. An automation app can use it to:

  1. Watch the screen (or notifications) for the text or button you chose.
  2. Find that button by its text, wherever it is on screen.
  3. Tap it the moment it shows up.

No root is needed. You turn the permission on yourself in Settings and can turn it off any time.

Setting it up with Flow Macro

Flow Macro builds this as a simple flow: wait → act.

  1. Wait: choose what to wait for — text on screen, a screen element (even an X button with no text), or a notification. Type it, or pick it right on the screen.
  2. Act: set what to tap by pressing it in the target app, or by recording. Because it finds buttons by text, it still works when the layout moves.
  3. Run: turn the flow on. You don't need to open the app again; it runs every time the condition is met.
